Meet Our Parent Coordinator

Hello, PS 287 families! My name is Ms. Lapierre, and I am excited to serve as your Parent Coordinator. I am here to support and connect families with our school community, ensuring that every parent and guardian feels welcomed, informed, and involved in their child's education.

 

What Does the Parent Coordinator Do?

As the Parent Coordinator, my role is to:

  • Serve as the main point of contact between parents and the school administration.

  • Provide information about school policies, programs, and events.

  • Organize workshops and meetings to help parents support their children's learning.

  • Address any questions or concerns families may have about school-related matters.

  • Work closely with the PTA and school leadership to strengthen family engagement.
